Career Highlights:
Dr. Kyle Schwickerath is an Arizona native and attended Grand Canyon University where he graduated with a B.S. in Biology w/ emphasis in pre-medicine, graduating Suma Cum Laude in 2015. He then received his doctoral degree from Midwestern University College of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, AZ where he was a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society and awarded the American Board of Podiatric Medicine Stephen M. Geller Graduate Merit Award. After graduating in 2020, he completed his three year surgical residency with Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY, where he served as Chief Resident, completing over 1,500 foot and ankle surgeries focused on foot & ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, charcot reconstruction, forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and pediatric Surgery

Dr. Schwickerath is well trained in common ailments of the foot and ankle and believes in keeping his patients healthy, active, and on their feet utilizing a variety of conservative and surgical management treatment options. His care focuses on all issues concerning the lower leg, ankle and foot including sports medicine, trauma, fractures, complex deformity reconstruction, revision surgery, bunions, hammertoes, diabetic/neuropathic patients suffering from acute and chronic ulcerations, etc. Dr. Schwickerath has trained in minimally invasive (MIS) surgical treatment of common foot deformities for reconstruction. He is board-qualified in foot and ankle surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Schwickerath prides himself on staying current with emerging techniques in order to get his patients on their feet as quickly as possible.

Dr. Schwickerath currently resides in NW Peoria and in his free time enjoys outdoor activities with his two sons and American Bulldog including golfing, hiking, mountain biking, water activities, etc.
